Polyamino Polyether Methylene Phosphonic Acid (PAPEMP)
CAS No. : 130668-24-5 Molecular Formula: (C3H60)nC10H2N2o13P4
Molecular Weight: 606 Brand Name: ZEELCHEM 151
Properties:
PAPEMP is an innovative water treatment agent known for its strong chelation and dispersion properties. It exhibits high calcium tolerance and effective scale inhibition capabilities. PAPEMP is suitable for use as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems and oilfield refill water systems, particularly in conditions characterized by elevated hardness, alkalinity, and pH levels.
PAPEMP demonstrates remarkable scale inhibition against calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and calcium phosphate. It effectively prevents the formation of silica scale and stabilizes metal ions such as zinc, manganese, and iron.
Additionally, PAPEMP serves as a scale inhibitor in reverse osmosis systems and multi-step flash vaporization systems, which often face challenges like high salt concentrations, turbidity, and elevated temperatures (for instance, in coal vaporization systems with high temperature and turbidity). It can also be utilized as an auxiliary agent in the weaving and dyeing process (such as a yellow turnback inhibition agent) and acts as a substitute for EDTA, DTPA, and NTA.
